Against the Storm is coming to consoles!

We’re happy to announce that Against the Storm will launch on consoles on June 26th! We partnered with QLOC – game porting veterans – who took on the task of adapting the game for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
The console version features a completely redesigned user experience and interface, tailored specifically for gamepads. We can’t wait for a whole new group of players to immerse themselves in the world of Against the Storm—all from the comfort of their couch.
In Against the Storm – a fantasy roguelite city builder – you’re tasked with rebuilding civilization in the face of apocalyptic rains. As the Queen’s Viceroy, lead humans, beavers, lizards, foxes, and harpies to reclaim the wilderness and secure a future for civilization’s last survivors.
With hundreds of gameplay modifiers and six distinct biomes, every city location presents unique challenges, and no town is ever the same. Will you search for archaeological discoveries in the Scarlet Orchard or fulfill the wishes of lost souls in the Cursed Royal Woodlands? Where will your next expedition take you?

The Keepers of the Stone DLC will also launch on June 26th across all consoles. It introduces, among other content, a new playable Frog species and two stunning biomes: the Coastal Grove and Ashen Thicket.

FAQ
Does the console version have the same content as the PC version?
Against the Storm on consoles is updated to version 1.5.5 (while the current PC version is 1.7.6). The updates that are going to be patched into the console version in the future are:
- Elder Update (1.6)
- Quality of Life Update (1.7)
- Upcoming Update (1.8) and other major updates
The main features of those updates are:
- 3 new World Events
- 3 new buildings for World Events
- A revamp and rebalance of World Events
- Town Statistics, Production Statistics, and Global Effects
- More irregular building footprints
- Balance changes to Cornerstones, Orders, and Rewards in general
- Deed information on World Map Modifier tooltips
The console versions of the game and its DLCs will receive updates to keep them up to date with changes made to the PC version.
The Keepers of the Stone DLC is also available (sold separately) and contains the same content as the PC version.
Are DLCs also coming to consoles?
Yes! The Keepers of the Stone DLC (sold separately) will launch simultaneously with the base game.
The second DLC, which is currently in development, will also be released on consoles.
Will the PC version receive gamepad support?
There are no plans to add gamepad support to the PC version. The console version has been fundamentally redesigned by QLOC in multiple aspects—both visually and technically—to accommodate controllers and provide the best experience for console players. It is a separate product from the PC version.
What will be the price?
The price details will be revealed in future announcements.
Are there going to be physical editions?
Yes! There will be physical editions for Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. More details about availability will be revealed in the future.
What languages will be available?
Against the Storm is localized from English into German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin American Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Japanese. The console version will be localized into the same languages.
